What a pleasure it has been so far to showcase to you the wonderful people of the music industry!
We love the great reception this has had so far too, thanks a lot! Who would you like to see, and what profession would you be interested in knowing a little more? With “A Chit Chat With…”, we aim to showcase people working in the music industry, and the many different jobs that it involves. We hope it might inspire some of you to maybe get involved and get some clarity, and to shine the limelight on the people behind the stage.
This week we have the pleasure to have Annalisa Iembo on board, a kick ass sound engineer, and the singer of amazing band Two Tribes.
She is a well known face of the music industry in East London venues and beyond, and a truly incredible sound engineer, as well as a lovely lady! She talks to us about her beginnings in the music industry, what her work entails on the day to day, some challenges of being a female sound engineer, as well as some of her fond memories on gigs and tours. She also gives us some pointers on how one might start begin the journey to sound engineering.
